Family Friendly Cycling in Greensand Country

Cycling is a great way to have fun and stay healthy as a family and there are lots of great family-friendly rides in and around Greensand Country.

Cyclists are welcome at Rushmere Country Park and Aspley Woods. Free access is available along public rights of way such as footpaths and bridleways, in addition Rushmere Country Park offers specialist cycling trails with the purchase of a Greensand Pass.

Cycling is a fantastic way to explore Maulden Wood and soak up the beautiful scenery. Cyclists are welcome on the surfaced gravel tracks.

In one half of Rowney Warren Wood you will find cycling trails and in the other peaceful woodland footpaths. At the northern section of the woods you will find Chicksands Bike Park. The park has a range of trails for all abilities.

The Forest Centre and Millennium Country Park at Marston Moretaine has 8km of surfaced paths, as well as bikes for hire.

Priory Marina Country Park is ideal for family cycling. Not got a bike? why not hire one for you and all of the family from the Danish Camp in Willington and enjoy a 6.5km cycle to Priory Marina?
