Rushmere Community Tree Planting Day

Come along to our community tree planting day to help us plant 1000 trees in a day!
We are planting a mixed variety of broadleaved native trees which will support biodiversity for years to come.
Come alone or with friends and family and have fun, get fit, and really make a difference to your local natural habitats.
Work alongside Ranger Bob and his team of experienced volunteers and meet members of The Greensand Trust team.
This is a physically demanding task and you are welcome to come for a morning or afternoon slot, or both.
- We’re offering two sessions: 10am – 12.30pm and 12.30pm – 3pm
- Tickets are free but booking is required to give us an idea of numbers (please book onto both sessions if you wish to attend both!)
- Training will be provided
- Free teas and coffees available to participants
- Free parking near the planting site and for the rest of the day in the upper carparks, should you wish to stay beyond the task
Please note!
- Children over the age of 10 can take part with adult supervision
- No dogs please
- Please wear stout footwear and dress for the weather
- This is a physically demanding task
