Outdoor photography for Beginners (Free Workshop)

Get the best out of your camera, learning a few tips and tricks to get you started.   Understand how to get blurry backgrounds, prevent camera shake with sharp images and create correctly exposed photos.  The ISO and WB settings will be explained and you’ll practice a few basic compositional skills.

About Phil Richardson

Greensand Country Landscape Partnership is thrilled to commission photographer Phil Richardson to deliver a series of free workshops for those who live and work in Greensand Country.

A fun, relaxed photographer, film-maker and trainer with a creative eye and a natural style.  With an interest in documentary and surrealism Phil loves to share his knowledge and experience, whilst encouraging you to be confident in your own photography.

His twenty years experience as a professional photographer, videographer and trainer is in portraiture, interviews, architecture and products, in the heritage, education and construction sectors, in the UK, Europe and the lovely Malawi.  Developing his training skills at Ashridge Business School and as a A-Level photography tutor has been beneficial for his students and photographers.

The workshops are ideal for beginner and enthusiast photographers, giving you confidence to photograph the images you want with 1:1 training sessions tailored to your abilities and needs, Phil is here to help you learn.
