Greensand Ridge Walk: Gamlingay and Parklands Circular Walk (7 miles)

Sunday 23rd August 2026 10:00 - Tuesday 21st April 2026 13:30

Join us for the eighth in our spring and summer walk programme along the Greensand Ridge Walk. 2026 marks the 40th anniversary of Bedfordshire’s premier walking route, and to celebrate this we have a programme of walks along the Greensand Ridge from May to September. Distances vary from 3-9 miles per walk, and it’s a great way to discover the walk if you haven’t walked it before, or a different way to enjoy it if you’re familiar with the route.

This walk will be a 7 mile route around Gamlingay village and the surrounding parklands on the Greensand Ridge. We will start at the Greensand Ridge Walk Gateway at the Gamlingay Eco Hub, walk around the village and out onto the Greensand Ridge path to discover the historic parklands of Tetworth and Woodbury, before looping back round to discover Gamlingay’s hidden parkland story.

Meet/park at Gamlingay Eco Hub, Stocks Lane, Gamlingay.
