Greensand Ridge Walk: Ampthill to Clophill Lakes Walk (6.75 miles)
Sunday 21st June 2026 09:30 - Saturday 06th June 2026 13:30
Join us for the next in our spring and summer walk programme along the Greensand Ridge Walk. 2026 marks the 40th anniversary of Bedfordshire’s premier walking route, and to celebrate this we have a programme of walks along the Greensand Ridge from May to September. Distances vary from 3-9 miles per walk, and it’s a great way to discover the walk if you haven’t walked it before, or a different way to enjoy it if you’re familiar with the route.
This walk will be a 6.75 mile guided walk. Meet/park at Clophill Lakes Nature Reserve and coach transport will be provided to the walk start point in Ampthill. We will then walk back along the Greensand Ridge Walk via Clophill village to Clophill Lakes where the cars are parked.
Parking available at Clophill Lakes Nature Reserve. Normal rates apply, see here for more information.
