Discover Butterflies at the Millennium Country Park…

Did you know the Millennium Country Park was once desolate pits dug to supply clay for the London Bricks Works? Over the last 20+ years we have regenerated the site and created a haven for a wide array of species… including magnificent butterflies.

Join our Senior Ranger, Nicola Ceconi, on a leisurely stroll around the Millennium Country Park, where we will be on the lookout for different species of butterflies. Nicola will demonstrate the use of specialised butterfly surveying equipment, and you may even have the chance to get hands-on experience catching and identifying these beautiful insects. Nicola will also be chatting about the importance of butterflies to our landscape and will share her knowledge about the species you’ll see.
