AmpProms 2023

AmpProms embodies the core vision of Ampthill Festival. In celebration of all things community, this traditional Proms in the Park pools local talent from the amazing Ampthill Concert Orchestra, Ampthill Town Band and the rising stars that form the Redborne Upper School’s Jazz Band.

Taking inspiration from the BBC’s Proms series, founded in 1895 by impresario Robert Newman, the name is short for Promenade concerts – informal concerts allowing Prommers to stand and listen.

This programme of Last Night of the Proms music, includes the much-loved Dam Busters and Rule Britannia. AmpProms also attracts some amazing special guests such as Collabro and stars of the West End to ensure it’s a truly inspiring event.
