‘All Along’

Sunday 1st May – End of June, 2022

Greensand Country Landscape Partnership are thrilled to present artist Emily Tracy’s ‘All Along’, as part of their commissioned programme of work celebrating Greensand Country.

This series of artworks uses books, and their form, to respond the unique landscapes and historic parklands of Greensand Country.

‘All Along’ refers to a sewn binding of books, and to the idea of moving through and along the Greensand Ridge, reflecting the story of the area through its geology, nature and people that have lived within Greensand Country.

The exhibition is in partnership with Shuttleworth, who are housing the exhibition in the Garden Room, located within the Swiss Garden.

Emily Tracy is a London based artist who has made site specific, socially engaged projects inspired by place, history and communities since 1994. She has built, devised, collaborated, administered and fundraised for over 40 projects including large scale artworks, events, public art and participatory projects for festivals, museums, arts organisations.

Cost

The exhibition is included as part of the normal entry price to Shuttleworth (free for Friends of the Garden and RHS Members on Thursdays). Please see here for more details: www.shuttleworth.org/visit
