A walk amongst trees: part of The Great Big Green Week
Tuesday 10th June 2025 11:00 - 14:30

A tree walk you won’t want to miss!
How do trees communicate? What challenges do they face? Why is tree planting important?
Our passionate and knowledgeable Community Engagement Officer, Jo Roberts will be answering all these questions and more, on an inspiring stroll around our Wetlands Nature Reserve at the Millennium Country Park. Jo will be sharing the history of our origin by taking a closer look at the trees we plant, delving into their uses, their value to us and our native wildlife, and the folklore surrounding them.
There are two walks during the day for this event: slot 1: 11am – 12pm slot 2: 1.30pm – 2.30pm
