Make a willow plant support

Saturday 29th April 2023 10:00 - 16:00

Saturday 29 April 2023, 10am-4pm.

A day in the woods learning how to make a simple willow obelisk shaped plant support for your garden. These are great for growing sweet peas or any other climbing plant and are relatively easy to make. In the day, you will create something to take away and use in your own garden. We’ll also spend a little time talking about willow – choosing, sorting and selecting. Tea, coffee and homemade cakes are provided.

The course will take place in our beautiful working, hazel woodland Bottoms’ Corner, part of the Wassledine family farm in Gravenhurst, Beds. It’s a tucked away location – details of how to find us will be send after booking.

This day will be led by Guy Lambourne of Wassledine.
