Heathland Guided Walk

Doors open: 10:15 am

As part of Heathland Awareness Week join us for a walk through Maulden Wood to visit the open heathland area at its heart when the heather is in flower.  It’s a great opportunity to take a close up look at the flowers and insects of this fascinating habitat with The Greensand Trust’s ecologist and education team.

• The walk will be approximately 2km in length with some slopes and uneven ground, starting and finishing at the Working Woodland Centre.
• Tickets just £3 per person (child or adult)
• Children must be accompanied by an adult – recommended for age 8+
• Not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs
• No dogs please
