Basket Making for Beginners

This day will introduce you to working with willow and allow you to get to grips with making your own round basket to take home. We will use willow grown on our small farm in Gravenhurst. Participants with some experience will be able to try some different techniques – if you have something specific in mind please contact us in advance.

The course also provides the opportunity to spend a relaxing day in the beautiful and peaceful setting of Bottoms’ Corner Wood, between the villages of Campton and Upper Gravenhurst. Plenty of tea and coffee with homemade cake is on offer throughout the day.
